Company Profile

Western Recreational Vehicles, Inc. is a national manufacturer of motorized and towable recreational vehicles located in Yakima, Washington. Corporate and production facilities extend over 40 acres and surpass over 450,000 square feel under roof. Employment level exceeding 275 skilled craftspeople and office personnel fluctuates with production demands. The company currently manufactures Alpenlite Fifth-Wheels and Truck Campers as well as the Alpine Coach, a premier diesel Motor Coach.

Western Recreational Vehicles, Inc. was founded in April 1971 by Bill and Suzanne Doyle. After 22 years of sound leadership, Bill Doyle retired and turned company leadership over to his son Ron Doyle. In December 2006, the Doyle family sold Western RV to Monomoy Capital Fund L.L.C. Ron Doyle continues as President under the new ownership. All former employees remain active in the company.

The addition of financial and management assistance provided by the Monomoy group enables Western RV to continue to grow and provide new and innovative recreational vehicles for the increasing popularity of the recreational vehicle lifestyle.

In many ways Western RV is a model company in the recreational vehicle industry. Its 36-year commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is a company tradition that is exemplified by Alpenlite Fifth-Wheels and Truck Campers being chosen as “Best Buys” by Consumers Digest magazine.

In the towable product marketplace, Alpenlite Fifth-Wheels continue to be one of the best selling premium Fifth-Wheel brands in the United States. The Alpenlite Limited, Villa and Voyager Series Fifth-Wheels appeal to those seeking quality class and comfort whether touring or enjoying life at an extended stay destination. Alpenlite Truck Campers have enjoyed a reputation for quality and exclusive design features that carries into 2007 with a model lineup appealing to the value driven consumer.

On the motorized side, the Alpine Coach, mated to its proprietary Western RV design and manufactured Peak Chassis, continues to grab the attention of both seasoned and novice Motor Coach enthusiasts. Its superb handling and road manners are accentuated by high quality living areas in an expanded offering of floor plans, incorporating the exclusive patent-pending SmartBed® Storage System. In a relatively short period of time, WRV has become one of the top producers of Class “A” Motorhomes in the U.S. while manufacturing diesel Motor Coaches exclusively.
