Question: How can I reach someone in
WRV's Customer Service Department for my Alpine Coach?
Answer: They can be reached by calling
1.866.567.4133 Monday through Friday 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. PST. Please
be ready to provide the last five digits of your Motor Coach's serial
number.
Question: Since almost
every motor home in the RV industry uses someone else's chassis, who
do I contact for questions on my Alpine Coach's chassis?
Answer: Western RV has built the Peak
Chassis especially for the Alpine Coach in our state-of-the-art chassis
production facility. Questions may be asked by calling our Customer
Service Department.
Question: I have a
problem with my engine or transmission, what should I do?
Answer: If your questions or concerns relate
to the engine or transmission, please contact each manufacturer directly

Question: How do I
obtain service for my Alpine Coach?
Answer: All repairs need prior authorization.
To obtain service, contact your selling dealer for assistance. If you
are traveling, please feel free to call our toll-free Customer Service
Department number at 1.866.567.4133 where you will be directed
to the closest dealer.
Question: Whom do
I contact for Alpine Coach Warranty coverage?
Answer: Our Warranty Service Department
can be reached by calling 1.866.567.4133 Monday through Friday
8 A.M. to 5 P.M. PST.
Question: How do I
order parts for my Alpine Coach?
Answer: Parts may be obtained by placing
an order directly with any of our authorized dealer's nationwide. You
may contact our Customer Service Department to obtain the location of

Question: Where can
I find information that can help me learn about my Alpine Coach?

Question: I know that
I need my serial number whenever I call Customer Service, however, where
would I find it on my Alpine Coach?
Answer: There are 2 (two) locations where
your Coach serial number is located. 1 (one) serial number tag is located
on the exterior dash wall next to the fuel fill on the driver's side
behind the generator slide-out. The other serial number tag is located
on the driver's side frame rail of the chassis in front of the front
driver's side tire near the steering gear box. The last 5 (five) digits
of the number will be needed when ordering parts or when calling for
service.
Question: Where can
I find the tag that shows me my Alpine Coach's carrying capacity?
Answer: For your Alpine Coach, the units
carrying capacity tag is located on the exterior dash wall behind the
generator slide-out next to the fuel fill on the driver's side. Please
refer to the list below for the different vehicle weight definitions.
GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight
Rating): Means the maximum permissible weight of this
motor home. The GVWR is equal to or greater than the sum of the unloaded
vehicle weight plus the NCC.
GCWR (Gross Combined Weight Rating):
Means the value specified by the motor home manufacturer as the
maximum allowable loaded weight of this motor home with its towed
trailer or towed vehicle. Towing and braking capacities may differ.
GAWR (Gross Axle Weight Rating):
Means the maximum permissible loaded weight a specific axle is designed
to carry.
GTW (Gross Towed Weight): Means the
maximum permissible loaded weight of a trailer or car that this motor
home has been designed to tow. This cannot be increased by changing
the trailer hitch.
UVW (Unloaded Vehicle Weight): Means
the weight of the motor home as built at the factory with full fuel,
engine oil and coolants. The UVW does not include cargo, fresh water,
LP gas, personal or dealer installed accessories.
NCC (Net Carrying Capacity): Means
the maximum weight of all personal including the driver, passenger,
personal belongings, food, fresh water, LP gas, tools, tongue weight
of towed vehicle, dealer installed accessories, etc., that can be
carried by this motor home. Normal variation of materials may cause
the Net Carrying Capacity to be 200 lbs. higher or lower than stated.
(NCC is equal to or less than GVWR minus UVW).
Question: Does Western
RV's Factory Service Center do repairs on retail sold units, if so,
can I make an appointment with them to do my warranty repairs?
Answer: Yes, Western RV's Factory Service
Center is there to support our entire network of dealers for warranty
work. A scheduled appointment is needed and must be pre-approved by
a Factory Service Representative. Please call 1.866.567.4133
to schedule an appointment for warranty work. Also, please note that
during our peak season, several weeks notice may be needed to schedule
a service appointment.

will I need if I call for service or repairs?

I find my serial number of my Alpenlite Fifth-Wheel, Alpenlite Travel
Trailer or Alpenlite Truck Camper?
Answer: On the left front corner of your
Alpenlite you will find the Federal Certification and Vehicle Identification
label. This tag gives the vehicle identification number, which is your
serial number. When contacting your selling dealer or Western RV, please
be sure to have the last five (5) digits of this number ready.
Question: How do I

Question: Can my Alpenlite
be repaired under warranty, by a repair shop other than my dealer or
the Factory Service Center?
Answer: Yes, however, all repairs must
be pre-authorized by a Factory Service Representative and can be reached
by contacting our Customer Service Department.
Question: Can I stay
overnight in my Alpenlite at the factory?
Answer: Yes, however, pull-through parking
is only available on a first-come, first-serve basis. 110 volt electrical
hook-ups are available for pull-through parking, but no fresh water
or sewer hook-ups are provided.
Question: What are
the factory service hours and can I drop by for service?
Answer: Factory service hours are Monday
through Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. PST. All factory service
must be pre-arranged.
Question:
I am broke down, what do I do?
Answer: In most cases, Emergency Road Service
will have to be handled locally. You may call our service personnel
at 1.866.567.4133. We will assist you in any way we can.
